What You’ll Do

You’ll be behind the wheel of a garbage truck, keeping Anchorage clean and green. You’ll:

  • Safely operate a commercial CDL truck on assigned local routes

  • Pick up residential/commercial waste & recycling

  • Perform pre/post trip inspections (fluids, tires, safety checks)

  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

  • Lift and move heavy materials (50+ lbs) – this is a hands-on job!

  • Deliver top-tier customer service every step of the way

️ What You Bring

  • Valid Class B CDL (with air brakes) – Class A? Even better!

  • Clean driving record

  • 1+ year of experience in commercial or route driving

  • You’re comfortable working outdoors, in all weather

  • You’re reliable, friendly, and a team player

️ Your Work Environment

Expect early mornings, physical work, and plenty of fresh air. This is an active outdoor job, not a desk job.

You’ll deal with:

  • Wet, cold, or humid conditions

  • Heavy lifting, climbing, and movement

  • Moderate truck and equipment noise
