What You'll Do
Engage and communicate with clients to deliver exceptional service Educate clients on proper care and treatment plans for their pets Assist veterinarians throughout patient treatments, procedures, and appointments Relieve doctors of technical duties to improve patient care efficiency Handle and care for patients with compassion and professionalism Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery Administer fluids and assist with diagnostics, surgery, and nursing care Perform laboratory testing to assist with diagnosis and treatment Accurately dispense and administer medications and vaccines Maintain complete and accurate medical records in the hospital software system Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional patient care and client service
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent required Open availability and flexibility with scheduling Ability to observe and assess patients for signs of illness or discomfort Passion for delivering exceptional patient care Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong time management and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning
