BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a passionate Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help lead our Internal Medicine department in Cary, NC! Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 / hour This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a leader in a dynamic team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will be excellent at training and mentoring. They will have advanced veterinary skills. We have a dynamic work environment, exciting medical cases, and great career development opportunities. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. As Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will:
Serveas a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
Coachteam members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
Identifyconflicts in the workplace andseekassistance in resolution.
Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
Other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of veterinary technician experience
2+ years of leadership experience
RVT or VTS preferred, but not mandatory
