Mobile Assessor Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. is a provider of patient-focused, comprehensive mental health services. We offer mental health evaluations to children, adolescents, adults and older adults in crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week response, including all holidays. Our service model focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of your mental health patients. Based on the results of an assessment, we determine the most appropriate level of care and recommend treatment facilities. The tele-psychiatric assessment and consultation services we offer are designed to connect people with the care provides best equipped to address their mental health issues. Rapid response means that the patient will get to the most appropriate level of care faster and expedite their journey to wellness. Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor Full Time to work 8 hours Night shifts 11pm-7:30am (Sun to Thurs and Tues to Sat) to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor's assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services. Qualifications: Education: Degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field. Licensure/Certification: Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor ("LPC"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ("LMFT"), Licensed Master Social Worker ("LMSW"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW"), or Registered Nurse ("RN"). Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. Experience: Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling. Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling. Mobile assessment experience preferred.
