Job Title: General Operative Location: Dunmanway, Co. Cork 2.15pm to 10.30pm Salary: €14.15 - €15.50 per hour Job Type: Full-time | Permanent We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established food manufacturing company based in Dunmanway, Co. Cork, for a General Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and growing FMCG food production environment supplying products to major retail and foodservice customers. The facility operates to high quality standards and offers a fast-paced, team-focused working environment. Pay & Working Hours Hourly rate: €14.15 - €15.50 per hour depending on experience Shift patterns: 2:15pm - 10:30pm Flexibility to work across both shifts may be required depending on production needs. Key Responsibilities As a General Operative, duties may include: Packing and labelling finished products Weighing and preparing ingredients for production Supporting production line operations Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production area Assisting with goods handling and palletising finished products Supporting warehouse and logistics tasks where required Carrying out quality checks and ensuring products meet company standards Following all food safety and health and safety procedures Requirements Reliable transport or ability to commute to Dunmanway Valid right to work in Ireland Good level of spoken and written English Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ideal Background Candidates with experience in the following areas would be well suited: Food production or FMCG manufacturing Pharmaceutical or packaging environments Warehouse or logistics roles Retail stockroom or butchery environments Key Qualities Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic Quality-focused mindset Ability to work well as part of a team Flexible and adaptable within a production environment Skills: retail management sales
