Jouw rol als Expert Security EngineerAls Expert Security Engineer begin je je dag met een stand-up meeting met je team. Samen bespreken jullie de binnengekomen tickets en verdelen de taken. Je werkt aan incidenten en geplande changes, waarbij je schakelt tussen verschillende klanten en hun unieke uitdagingen. Je hebt de vrijheid om de beste producten en tools in te zetten voor optimale oplossingen.
Wat we van je verwachten- Hbo-werk- en denkniveau
- Minimaal 5-7 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie met focus op security oplossingen
- Goede kennis van Firewalling oplossingen zoals Cisco Firepower en Fortigate
- Kennis van DNS en Email security is een pre
- Praktische ervaring met netwerktechnologieën zoals IP-routing, switching en BGP
- Proactieve en flexibele werkhouding
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel intern als naar klanten
- Een uitdagende fulltime baan bij een toonaangevende IT-infrastructuur dienstverlener

Bij Proximus NXT werk je aan complexe IT-infrastructuren voor grote klanten. We zijn een kennisorganisatie die veel waarde hecht aan de ontwikkeling van onze medewerkers. Je maakt deel uit van een hecht team binnen ons Service Management Center (SMC), waar je samenwerkt met collega-security-experts, een People's Manager, Scrum Master en een coördinator.
