Position Overview:

The Sales Development Representative I (SDR I) plays an instrumental role in the direct growth of Diligent by generating new business opportunities primarily through inbound leads. The SDR I engages with new leads to understand their business requirements and document these while being a brand ambassador for the Diligent products. An SDR I utilizes their strong conversational skills to maximize engagement and achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Navigating CRM (Salesforce) to identify inbound prospects for targeting and enrich with additional information to create value conversations that lead to Initial Meetings
• Conduct sales development best practices through email, phone, and social activities using the various software tools to connect with new prospects
• Utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably to qualify the right decision makers
• Skillfully build interest and influence opportunities with inbound prospects
• Coordinate meetings/demonstrations on account executive's calendar and log activities in the CRM
• Meet or exceed targets & key performance indicators (KPIs) as determined by the business
• Other duties may be requested in accordance with business need

Required Experience/Skills:

• A keen interest for working in a sales-focused, target-driven environment.
• An understanding of the sales process (marketing, sales cycle)
• Demonstrated ability to articulate the unique proposition of Diligent solutions and obtain product knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives
• Excellent presentation skills both verbally and written
• High energy, with a positive and can-do attitude that drives success.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with sales, SaaS or senior executive communications is desirable

U.S pay range

$42,720 - $53,400 USD
