Job Title: Duty Manager Location: Cork Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent Reports To: General Manager / Deputy Manager About the Role: Noel Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established 4-star hotel client in Cork for an experienced and dependable Duty Manager to join their management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys exposure to all areas of hotel operations, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of the hotel across food & beverage, front office, accommodation, and guest services while ensuring the highest standards of customer care and operational efficiency. Free onsite parking Complimentary leisure club membership Staff meals provided Contributory pension scheme (service requirement applies) Company life insurance scheme Employee Assistance Programme Friends & family accommodation rates Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity to grow within a progressive hospitality group Supportive and dynamic team environment Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel Assist in overseeing all departments including food & beverage, reception, accommodation, and kitchen operations Ensure efficient and professional service standards are maintained at all times, particularly during busy periods Deliver and promote exceptional customer service across all areas of the hotel Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes wherever possible Complete all required operational, security, and departmental checklists Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security for guests and staff Provide operational support across departments as required Carry out additional duties as assigned by management Key Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience in a Duty Manager role within a 4-star hotel environment At least 3 years' experience in food & beverage operations within hospitality A qualification in Hotel Management or a related discipline would be advantageous Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Passionate about guest satisfaction and delivering high service standards Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts Fluent English, both written and spoken Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Skills: Team Managemenr/ Organisation/ Time management
