Sand Slicer is seeking energetic and motivated sales representatives to promote and sell our Wisconsin-made shoreline improvement product at farmers markets, night markets, and community events throughout Central Wisconsin. Sand Slicer helps create cleaner, more enjoyable waterfronts without chemicals or fuel.
Schedule:
- 24 markets/events weekly
- Wednesdays, Saturdays, and select evening events
- Seasonal position with peak activity spring through fall
- Setup and takedown required
Compensation:
- W2 employee position
- Commission-only structure
- $30 per Sand Slicer sold
- Commission increases to $35 per unit after 10 weekly sales
- Paid biweekly
- Typical earnings range from $200$700+ weekly depending on performance and events attended.
Sand Slicer Provides:
- Booth setup and signage
- Polo shirts and branded materials
- Product training and sales scripts
- Payment processing systems
- Ongoing support and coaching
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with event attendees
- Demonstrate and explain product benefits
- Promote the Sand Slicer brand professionally
- Process customer orders
- Assist with booth setup and takedown
- Work independently once trained
- Some events may utilize two-person booth teams depending on event size and attendance.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
- Ability to assist with booth setup and takedown
- Comfortable using smartphones/mobile payment systems preferred
