Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA – Union Hospital Therapy, LLC – Terre Haute, IN We are looking for a full-time PTA to join our team in a clinical setting. You will be providing therapeutic and holistic care for our patients in our inpatient division. This role is Monday-Friday day shift schedule with a weekend rotation. Experienced PTA’s and new graduates are welcome to apply! This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience. What will you be doing in this role?
Working towards the achievement of patient care time targets and productivity standards Providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases Operating according to underlying goals of the inpatient acute environment, optimizing the length of stay while preparing the patient for transition to a longer-term setting in an efficient and safe manner Collaborating with other therapists/physicians within care pathways as necessary
Restoring patient function while relieving pain with ambitions of avoiding disability Integrating Rehab Techs to support the patients plan of care Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate would:
Have an Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant Have the required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure Provide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s) Have the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift Have a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision Be able to maintain confidentiality
Eligibility to Work: This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).
