Job Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, performing physical exams and detailed assessments of medical histories Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging and lab results Collaborate closely with surgical teams to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans Provide in-surgery support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments Deliver exceptional care before and after surgeries, including administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients Education Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant training program Previous experience through clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice preferred Required Certifications
Current and valid PA-C certification BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory Eligible for state licensure as a Physician Assistant Skills Needed
