What You'll Do
Provide urgent care coverage in a busy general surgery setting Assist with pre- and post-operative patient management Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning Collaborate with hospital staff and surgical team Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital privileging requirements Maintain accurate documentation and case logs Support the hospital's clinical operations during scheduled shifts
What You Need Required:
Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license CA DEA license BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of general surgery experience or recent residency completion Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)
Preferred:
ACNP credential for NPs Experience with hospital-based surgical care
