Essential Functions:
- Enthusiastically greets every Guest with a smile and positive attitude
- Take Guests' order using the Velvet Taco steps of service
- Ensure dine-in, to-go and call-in orders are properly rung up in the POS
- Handle all cash, credit card and gift card transactions
- Check identification before serving alcohol according to state law
- Maintain a clean, sanitized service area
- Have full knowledge of all food & beverage menu items
- Maintain a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift
- Other functions as assigned by management
- Have fun and Kick Ass
QUALIFICATIONS
- BE RELENTLESS. NEVER SETTLE. You play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests by treating every Guest at Velvet Taco Vibe with passionate speed, friendly and engaging service.
- BE A REBEL. You are passionate about food and hospitality and obsessed with cleanliness and organization.
- KICK ASS & TAKE NAMES. No one does hospitality better! You have a strong attention to detail. You are all smiles and radiate a vibe that keeps Guests coming back for more!
- STAND TOGETHER. You work within a team that thrives in a fast-paced, Taco Lovin, fun environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Aligns with Velvet Taco's culture
- Friendly, loves to smile
- Food Handlers Certification/Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification (TABC/BASSET)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
