Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a pivotal member of our imaging team, providing top-tier care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct various diagnostic procedures and collaborate with a devoted team of medical professionals, ensuring both timely and accurate imaging for our patients. Description of Responsibilities
Conduct a broad array of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each procedure, explaining each process with empathy and clarity Work collaboratively with radiologists and physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images Maintain imaging equipment and promptly report any issues Document procedures meticulously and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program Certifications Required
Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred Skills Needed
Exceptional technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive both independently and within a team environment Comfortable in a fast-paced, patient-centered care setting Benefits Overview
