Met de komst van de nieuwe Omgevingswet, die bestaande wetten samenvoegt en vereenvoudigt, staat Nederland voor een grote uitdaging. De Omgevingswet bevordert samenwerking tussen verschillende overheidslagen en burgers, met een sterke focus op integrale besluitvorming. Als jurist krijg jij de kans om aan de basis te staan van deze innovatieve veranderingen en een sleutelrol te spelen in de duurzame toekomst van Nederland.
Als Senior Jurist Omgevingsrecht bij één van onze opdrachtgevers binnen de decentrale overheid ben jij de schakel die juridische vraagstukken vertaalt naar praktische oplossingen. Je werkt nauw samen met diverse afdelingen en externe partners om onze leefomgeving te verbeteren.
Taken en verantwoordelijkheden
- Bijdragen aan de implementatie van de Omgevingswet.
- Verstrekken van juridisch advies over omgevingsrechtelijke vraagstukken.
- Behandelen van bezwaar- en beroepsprocedures.
Je beschikt over het vermogen om complexe juridische informatie duidelijk en begrijpelijk over te brengen aan zowel collega's als externe partijen. Je bent in staat om effectief samen te werken met verschillende stakeholders, waaronder gemeentelijke of provinciale afdelingen, andere overheidsorganisaties, projectontwikkelaars, en burgers. Je bent nauwkeurig, proactief en beschikt over een probleemoplossend vermogen. Daarnaast beschik je over:
- Een afgeronde universitaire opleiding in Nederlands recht, bij voorkeur met een specialisatie in omgevingsrecht.
- Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen de decentrale overheid (gemeente, provincie, waterschap), of bij een adviesbureau dat veel samenwerkt met deze overheidsorganisaties.
- Diepgaande kennis van relevante wet- en regelgeving, zoals de Wabo, Wm, de Wet natuurbescherming, en de Omgevingswet.
De boeiende projecten bij toonaangevende overheidsinstanties zijn nog maar het topje van de ijsberg. Bij Brunel Legal - specialist in jouw vakgebied - kun je ook nog eens rekenen op:
