Sapien Engineering are looking for a Senior Electronic Design engineer to join a key client of ours on a permanent basis. This is an on-site role based on client site near Yateley, Hampshire.
Client Overview
This opportunity is with a globally recognised leader in subsea and underwater technology, developing advanced navigation, sensing and communication systems used across offshore energy, defence and ocean science.
They’re known for high-end engineering, innovation and long-term investment in R&D, offering the chance to work on complex, cutting-edge technology with real-world impact.
Job Responsibilities
* Mixed signal electronic design
* Low power electronic design
* FPGA
* EMC compliance
* Altium preferred but not essential
* Basic embedded C
* Technical documentation
* Previous experience in a subsea environment highly beneficial (acoustics/audio also helpful)
* Proven experience in a senior role
* Basic mentoring of junior engineers
