Phlebotomy Specialist

Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Strong phlebotomy and specimen collection skills.

Ability to work across multiple locations and environments.

Strong customer service and patient communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Keyboard and data entry experience.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.

Experience working in patient service centers, doctors offices, long-term care, mobile, or house call environments.

Experience mentoring, coaching, or training staff preferred.

Experience handling high-complexity or high-volume customer accounts preferred.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, Billing, Logistics, and Laboratory Services preferred.

Experience in customer service within retail or service environments preferred.

Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

Follow established procedures and safety protocols for specimen collection and handling.

Provide coverage and support across multiple locations and operational roles.

Ensure daily activities are completed accurately and on time.

Create a positive patient experience by explaining procedures professionally and clearly.

Lead or support daily operations at patient service centers or client locations as needed.

Act as coach, mentor, instructor, and onboarding resource for new employees and clients.

Serve as a point of contact for on-site staff and provide updates to supervisors and group leads.

Support complex customer accounts requiring specialized phlebotomy expertise.

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational and service-related issues.

Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and within team environments.

Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
