Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 5 Star CMS, 280-bed skilled nursing facility located at 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, NY 12401. We are seeking compassionate, professional, family-oriented candidates to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing daily recreational and therapeutic activities for residents
  • Support group activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise programs, and social events
  • Encourage resident participation while respecting individual abilities and preferences
  • Assist residents to and from activities when needed
  • Help set up and clean up activity spaces and materials
  • Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who are unable to attend group programs
  • Support special events, holiday celebrations, and themed activities within the facility
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents
  • Document participation and observations as directed by the Activities Director
  • Collaborate with the care team to support residents' emotional and social well-being

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
  • Friendly, patient, and compassionate personality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Creative mindset with enthusiasm for engaging residents in meaningful activities
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility to and from activities when necessary
