Sales Support Specialist
Acutronic is looking for a Sales Support Specialist who will support the sales process by coordinating customer inquiries, preparing quotations, managing sales documentation, and facilitating communication among customers, sales leadership, and internal teams. This role helps ensure the efficient handling of customer requests, accurate preparation of quotes and proposals, and smooth coordination between the sales, operations, and engineering teams. Your Roles/Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries related to product capabilities, pricing, and availability, ensuring timely and accurate communication with prospective and existing customers Prepare customer quotations, proposals, and supporting documentation by coordinating with engineering, operations, and finance teams Assist sales leadership with tracking opportunities, managing CRM records, and ensuring sales pipeline information is current and accurate Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries, quotes, proposals, and sales activities in CRM or sales management systems Coordinate internally with engineering, operations, and finance to gather information required for pricing, delivery estimates, and proposal preparation Support the preparation of customer presentations, sales materials, and responses to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for quotation (RFQs) Identify recurring customer questions, quoting challenges, or sales process inefficiencies and provide feedback to leadership to improve the sales process Develop standardized procedures for responding to RFQs and preparing customer quotations Support the implementation or improvement of CRM systems to track sales opportunities, customer communications, and quotation history Analyze quoting and proposal workflows to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements Develop periodic reporting to help leadership understand pipeline activity, quote conversion rates, and customer engagement Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills: High School diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Engineering Technology or Industrial Management preferred At least one year of experience in sales support, customer support, or administrative role supporting commercial activities Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education Certified Sales operations Professional (CSOP), Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) or CRM platform certifications a plus Experience in manufacturing or technical product environments is preferred We Offer: Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k match Company-paid holidays and Paid Time Off 9/80 schedule About Acutronic: The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
