Hey there! Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) ready to make a difference in the school setting? We're on the lookout for someone just like you to join our crew in Oneonta. If you have a knack for supporting communication development in students and love a school environment, this might just be your dream gig!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Help implement speech and language treatment plans designed by an SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Assist in screening students' communication skills.
- Document and report on students' progress and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and needs.
What We're Looking For:
- An SLPA with a valid state license to practice.
- Previous experience working in schools is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adept at working independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic about helping kids reach their full potential!
