Join a large, subspecialty-trained radiology practice as an IR/DR hybrid at a busy community hospital in Central Pennsylvania. This employed position offers flexible scheduling, strong APP support, and access to a world-class health system with academic affiliations.

Position Highlights

  • BC/BE in Radiology with Pennsylvania license (or eligible).

  • IR/DR hybrid role proficient in community hospital interventional procedures.

  • 7-on/7-off schedule or traditional with 9 weeks PTO.

  • Associated overnight IR call with $5K/week supplemental pay.

  • Join 90+ subspecialty radiologists covering Western Pennsylvania.

  • Direct support from 3 APPs and reading room assistants.

  • Accepts H1 visa candidates.

  • Clinical affiliation with University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology for teaching/research.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $600K base salary plus paid IR call and incentives ($730K-$850K+ total potential).

  • $60K sign-on bonus.

Practice Environment
Employed by a major clinical radiology division using Philips VuePACS, Powerscribe, and Epic EMR. Work at a 400-bed tertiary hospital with Level III trauma, thrombectomy-capable stroke center, regional cancer center, and heart/vascular institute. Teleradiology support from one of the nation's largest academic radiology departments.

Health System
Part of a 40+ hospital network serving central Pennsylvania with 400+ credentialed physicians, 4-star CMS quality rating, and 'A' Leapfrog patient safety grade. Signature services include interventional neurology, comprehensive cancer care, and cardiovascular excellence.

Choose Altoona/Hollidaysburg or nearby State College (Penn State campus) for affordable living, excellent schools, and work/life balance.
