Our CNA/MHTs play an essential role in supporting patients on their path to healing and stability. This is a hands on, people-centered position where compassion, teamwork, and patience truly matter./ppAbout the Role: Make a difference every day as a Mental Health Technician, supporting adolescents in a safe, therapeutic environment. Youll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to help patients build coping skills, reach treatment goals, and thrive. This role is hands-on, rewarding, and central to patient care./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliObserve and support patients according to their treatment plans and assigned observation levels./liliAssist patients with attending groups, meals, and daily activities on schedule./liliProvide guidance, positive role modeling, and therapeutic communication./liliSupervise and secure patient belongings, ensuring safety and compliance with policies./liliFacilitate educational and remedial groups in a supportive and clinically appropriate manner./liliPerform safety and room checks, contraband searches, and other unit monitoring./liliRespond to codes and emergencies calmly and professionally./liliDocument patient interactions, group participation, and behavioral observations accurately and professionally./liliFollow behavior management principles and treatment plan interventions at all times./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliMust be at least twenty-one (21) years of age due to state regulations for adolescent care./liliHigh School Diploma or equivalent required./liliCurrent CNA certification in the State of Louisiana required./liliBLS (AHA) and CPI certification required (company-provided if needed)./liliPrevious relevant experience preferred./liliAvailable to complete a full week of orientation (Mon-Fri, 7:45 am to 5:00 pm)./liliAble to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards./li/ulpNorthlake Behavioral Health is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
