Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Front Desk in Westlake, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Front Desk Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and strong communication. This stationary role supports a welcoming presence while helping to deter incidents. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeTue09:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed09:00 AM - 07:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific policies, front desk procedures, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor visitor access at the front desk by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing arrivals in accordance with location protocols.
- Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and support employee, contractor, and visitor check-in processes while maintaining accurate front desk records and reports.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when appropriate.
- Observe lobby and reception activity and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
