Het UPC KU Leuven is op zoek naar een enthousiaste business controller die een passie heeft voor het verwerken van financiële en operationele data tot nuttige en hanteerbare informatie. Je interpreteert en valideert de data met een kritische blik en jouw buikgevoel wanneer “iets niet klopt” laat je zelden of nooit in de steek. Je beperkt je niet tot de analyse maar bespreekt deze ook met allerhande stakeholders om de nodige impact te hebben op de zorgorganisatie.

Je kan als leergierige duizendpoot aan de slag in een stimulerende en boeiende werkomgeving. Je krijgt tijd om de complexe financieringsmechanismen van de ziekenhuissector en organisatiestructuur onder de knie te krijgen en zo uit te groeien tot onze expert business controller. Als je al ziekenhuiservaring hebt is dat een pluspunt, maar dat is ondergeschikt aan je energie en dynamisme. je functie
- je opereert als schakel tussen de medische diensten en de (financiële) directie, waarbij je verantwoordelijk bent voor de activiteiten- en financiële opvolging van de betrokken medische dienst(en) en je vertegenwoordigt de financiële dienst op een aantal vergaderingen binnen de dienstwerking
- je zorgt mee voor een correcte interne en externe rapportering en de opvolging van de belangrijkste bedrijfsparameters van jouw diensten, je maakt o.a. diverse detailbilans en procesanalyses op, waarna je deze vertaalt naar mogelijke aanbevelingen
- je maakt diverse financiële en operationele analyses en vertaalt deze in suggesties voor beleidsaanpassingen, je detecteert zo bedreigingen en opportuniteiten in de snel veranderende sector van de geestelijke gezondheidszorg
- je neemt verantwoordelijkheid in de projectopvolging en -implementatie van onze strategische en operationele projecten en bent zo mee de motor van onze innovatie
- je ontwikkelt en schrijft de nodige procedures en richtlijnen m.b.t. financiële en administratieve bedrijfsprocessen
- je bezit bij voorkeur een universitair diploma in een economische richting of hebt een gelijkwaardige ervaring
- je hebt een excellente kennis van Excel en andere Microsoft toepassingen (Word, Powerpoint, Teams) alsook interesse in AI, power BI of andere rapporteringstools
- je hebt een goed en analytisch inzicht in bedrijfsprocessen en cijfers, waarna je deze kan ordenen in overzichtelijke schema’s, je komt hierbij snel tot een beknopte synthese door hoofd- en bijzaak van elkaar te onderscheiden
- je werkt stressbestendig, nauwkeurig en resultaatgericht, waarbij je vooraf gestelde deadlines respecteert
- je beschikt over sterke relationele kwaliteiten en werkt graag in teamverband
- je krijgt de kans om je kennis en competenties te ontwikkelen en uit te dragen binnen een dynamische organisatie en sector in volle verandering, met diverse interne doorgroeimogelijkheden
- je rapporteer rechtstreeks aan de financieel directeur
