Job DescriptionAs a Armed Security Officer Clearance Eligible in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support security-related operations with integrity, and contribute through teamwork each day.

Pay Rate: $28.68 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 AM - 05:00 PMTue11:00 AM - 05:00 PMWed11:00 AM - 05:00 PMThur11:00 AM - 05:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or badges, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or security-related concerns in accordance with site protocols.
- Support Allied Universal and site leadership with incident reporting, post order compliance, and preparedness for changing conditions, hazards, and/or operational needs across the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
