Role and responsibilities include: Support field deployment and technical execution for end to end network and compute systems Provide hands-on architecture and design expertise including serving as technical authority Lead system integration, validation, and field deployment activities Serve as primary technical interface to customers and stakeholders Lead small engineering teams and drive technical standards Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure mission success Requirements include: U.S. citizen, no dual citizenship Current security clearance (secret at a minimum) Availability to support extensive CONUS and OCONUS travel Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; equivalent years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree Current CCNA or higher Demonstrated experience leading engineering efforts for high profile complex technical environments 10-15 years of systems engineering experience including design and architecture level responsibilities
Expertise with the following technologies: Root cause analysis and issue resolution Cisco networking including switching, routing, OSPF, GBP VMware ESXi Linux system administration including CLI, networking, and multi-NIC configuration Kubernetes in production environments IPv6, VPN, VRF, and PKI implementation Space, Weight, and Power (SWaP) analysis for integrated systems
Ability to interact with customer and stakeholders including technical and non-technical team members Availability to support CONUS and OCONUS travel (50-75%) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and workloads Ablity to convey technical information to non-technical team members #Linux #SWaP #VMware #ComputeSolutions
