Account Executive

As an Account Executive within AWS Global Financial Services (GFS), you are driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, business development executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses for the most strategic Global AWS Accounts. You are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage, promoting adoption of the entire AWS services portfolio to Global Customers. On a daily basis you empower your customers to solve challenges while attaining both their operational and innovation goals. You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile, innovative, and efficient. Our AI, ML, and Generative AI capabilities are world-class.

Key job responsibilities include identifying and building trusted advisor relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, specifically CxOs, at the customer. You will work closely with internal AWS teams (executives, solution architects, business development, marketing, partners, enterprise support, service teams and professional services), as well as external SI and ISV partners, to support the best business solution for customers. You will define a CXO relationship strategy within the customer, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction levels. Operating with significant autonomy and discretion, a high degree of decision making is required in routine customer engagement, business judgment is critical. You will manage the sales pipeline via Salesforce and facilitate all stages of a sale. You will participate and lead in the negotiation and closing of legal agreements, such as EAs, and contracts, such as PPAs. You will maintain an operating knowledge of AWS's service catalog and be able to relate them to solving customers' business problems. You will help define product requirements by understanding and evangelizing the needs of customers. You will work with marketing and communications to develop formal references, PR and case studies highlighting impactful customer activity and workloads running on AWS.
