About the PositionWe are seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for a short-term assignment. This position offers a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work locally with a reputable client. The assignment is expected to last for one month but may extend based on operational needs.
Pay & Schedule Details- Pay Rate: $26.77 per hour
- Health & Welfare: $5.36 per hour
- Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off (off Thursday and Friday)
- Working Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
- Start Time: 10:45 AM
- Total Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours
- Route Type: Local
- Type of Assignment: Short Term (1 month, with potential for extension)
- Equipment: Dry Van
- Transmission Type: Automatic
- Handling: Touch loading and unloading of mail carts on wheels
- Route: Gastonia Yard to Florence QVC and back
- Minimum Pay: 8 hours if the run is less than 8 hours
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time
- Dependably execute assigned routes and tasks
- Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- CDL Class: CDL A
- Experience: 18+ months of driving experience
