If you're an experienced sales professional looking for your next big challenge, consider joining Patrick Allen Companies as our new full-time Business Development and Sales Rep! This position is based in Columbus, Starkville, West Point, MS, or Tupelo, MS and is responsible for forging profitable relationships within your assigned territory. Take charge of your future and grow your career with our supportive team! When you join us, you earn $90,000-$100,000 a year based on productivity. The pay structure is a base pay of $50,000-$65,000 plus commissions. We also provide fantastic benefits and perks, including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off An IRA A company vehicle Company team-building events Our Business Development and Sales Rep works from Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Every day brings new opportunities to forge professional relationships, support a fast-growing family-owned business, and showcase your sales expertise! In this role, you actively seek out potential clients and demonstrate why we best fit their needs. An outgoing and positive attitude is a must as you cold call, social sell, email, and network with prospective clients. You travel to local facilities, plants, and distribution centers to meet with prospects and determine if we're a good fit for their needs. By collaborating with our project management team, you help create, review, and implement job proposals that encourage clients to choose us. You learn the Sandler methodology that drives the Patrick Allen Companies sales process and stay on top of industry trends to develop effective sales strategies. Here's what you need: 2+ years of experience in sales and prospecting new business Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) practices and ability to maintain professional relationships Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed Self-starter attitude with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Professional attitude and appearance Problem-solving skills, ability to take constructive feedback, and desire to improve Ability to make sales calls on active construction sites, in unairconditioned industrial facilities, and working outdoors A college degree would be preferred. Sales experience in the manufacturing or industrial sectors would also be a bonus.
