Want to help redesign how publicly funded transport works across health, education and local government and make it simpler and more joinedup for passengers?

Were looking for a Public Transport Planner (Integrated Public Transport) to lead the development and embedding of a joinedup transport approach across the region. This role is all about integration: connecting services that are often planned separately, reducing duplication, and improving outcomes for the people who rely on them most.

In this role, youll:

  • Lead programmes to design, test and embed integrated transport models across the region
  • Map and analyse commissioned transport services (including health, social care and education) to identify opportunities for alignment and optimisation
  • Work closely with local authorities, NHS partners, operators and service providers to build consensus and deliver change
  • Manage budgets and funding pots, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, to quality and within agreed constraints

Youll bring experience of improving customer outcomes in a public transport or regulated environment, with strong analytical skills and confidence working across complex stakeholder landscapes. Youll be comfortable navigating political, contractual and partnership settings , and motivated by making systems work better for passengers.
