The Opportunity

We are seeking an IT Specialist to support project planning and execution within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. This role offers the opportunity to build foundational project management skills while collaborating with teams across IT, finance, procurement, and business functions to help deliver projects on time and within scope.

What You’ll Work On

  • Support the development and maintenance of project timelines and schedules

  • Track project tasks and follow up on deliverables to ensure timely completion

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, escalating when appropriate

  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, action logs, risk registers, and status updates

  • Capture key decisions and communicate updates to stakeholders

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of regular project status reports

  • Follow up on action items from meetings to ensure closure

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution

  • Help ensure vendors comply with required processes, documentation, and training

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures

  • Contribute to team discussions, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Basic understanding of project management concepts, methodologies, and tools

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation

  • Eagerness to learn and develop project management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or early career experience supporting projects or working in an IT environment

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)

  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration within IT, finance, procurement, or business teams

  • Experience preparing reports, tracking action items, or maintaining project documentation

  • Knowledge of basic risk management and issue tracking practices

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
