As an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Auctane, you'll be on the frontlines of driving new business. This is a highly outbound-focused role where your main responsibility is to actively engage with prospects through high-volume cold-calling, targeted emailing, and strategic use of social media. You will be a crucial part of our sales pipeline, identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads into sales-ready opportunities, ensuring you pass only the most promising prospects to our sales team. If you are self-motivated, hungry to meet and exceed targets, and excel at relationship-building over the phone and via email, this role is for you! This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas. Heavy Outbound Prospecting: Consistently generate new opportunities through high-volume outbound calls, personalized emails, and social media outreach. Qualify and Develop Leads: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, uncovering pain points and needs, and guiding prospects to a clear understanding of how our solutions can help them. Overcome Objections: Manage and overcome common sales objections with ease, keeping the conversation focused on value and next steps. Create Interest and Build Rapport: Develop rapport quickly with decision-makers through engaging, consultative conversations across multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn). Targeted Research: Conduct thorough research on accounts and prospects to identify the right decision-makers and potential opportunities. Document Sales Activities: Ensure all lead interactions are captured accurately in Salesforce and Salesloft, tracking the entire prospecting journey and maintaining up-to-date lead data. Meet Key Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed key metrics, including monthly and quarterly new opportunity generation, call volume, email outreach, and pipeline goals. Collaboration: Work closely with account executives and sales managers to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and track the progression of opportunities through the sales cycle. What Are We Looking For?
Outbound-Driven: Experience with heavy outbound sales calls, and a passion for initiating conversations and building new relationships. Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to tailor messaging to various audiences. Qualifying Skills: Expertise in identifying qualified leads and determining whether prospects are the right fit for our product. Goal-Oriented & Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to exceed quotas and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Resilience & Persistence: Comfortable handling rejection and quickly moving on to the next opportunity with renewed energy. Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools like Salesloft or Outreach. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, sharing insights and strategies to continually improve the outbound process. What Will Make You Stand Out?
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a similar outbound sales development role. Previous experience in a SaaS or tech sales environment. The Tech
