We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Commercial & Marketing Manager to help grow our business, increase sales, and strengthen our brand presence.
About the RoleAs the Commercial & Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving store performance through effective marketing, promotions, supplier relationships, and sales strategies. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a small business environment and can manage multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage marketing campaigns to increase store traffic and sales
- Manage the store’s social media pages and online promotions
- Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing where appropriate
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Organise in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and community events
- Support stock planning and promotional pricing strategies
- Create marketing materials including posters, flyers, and online content
- Help improve customer engagement and loyalty
- Analyse customer trends and competitor activity
- Work closely with the store owner and team to support daily operations
- Previous experience in marketing, retail, sales, or commercial management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Creative thinking with the ability to generate new ideas
- Good understanding of social media and local marketing
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools
- Experience working in a small retail business
- Graphic design or content creation skills
- Knowledge of local market trends and customer engagement strategies
