We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our clinical and operational teams. The successful individual will ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and resident wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Governance and overall management of the nursing home Oversight of clinical and social care delivery Management of admissions, transitions, transfers, and occupancy Developing strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders (HIQA, HSE, GPs, etc.) Leadership of HR functions, team development, and performance management Financial and administrative oversight Facility and service management to ensure a safe and high-quality environment Candidate Requirements Essential Registered General Nurse on the NMBI register Minimum 3 years experience in nursing older persons (within the previous 6 years) Minimum 3 years experience in a management role within health or social care Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Evidence of continuous professional development Fluent English Able to pass Garda Clearance and provide suitable references Must have EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland Desirable Postgraduate qualification (or willingness to undertake) in: Nursing Management Gerontology Healthcare Leadership / Healthcare Management Post-registration qualification in dementia care or gerontology Why Join Us?
