Security Industry Manufacturer seeking a dynamic and innovative Web and Graphic Designer to join our creative team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of crafting visually compelling digital experiences that captivate audiences and elevate our brand presence across multiple web sites and social accounts. Your expertise in both web design and graphic artistry will drive the development of engaging websites, impactful branding elements, and interactive media that resonate with users. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to blend creativity with technical skills, making a tangible impact across various digital platforms.
*Duties*
* Design and develop responsive websites for Desktop and Mobile devices.
* Create captivating visual content including logos, layouts, typography, motion graphics, and UI elements utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and XD.
* Manage website content through content management systems using WordPress, while maintaining website accessibility standards and SEO best practices for improved visibility.
* Perform website maintenance tasks including updates, security patches, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in digital design combined with strong graphic design skills demonstrated through a diverse portfolio showcasing logo design, layout design, motion graphics, and UI/UX projects.
* Hands-on experience in web development.
* Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, along with knowledge of responsive web design principles to ensure accessible experiences across all devices.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD or Figma for wireframing and visual prototyping; experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics is a plus.
* Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability testing methodologies to create inclusive digital environments.
* Data analysis skills using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to interpret user engagement metrics; ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements.
