Step into a high-impact Sales Engineer role with a growing industrial solutions provider focused on helping manufacturers increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve output through advanced CNC machining and automation technologies. This is a customer-facing, field-driven position where you'll act as a trusted advisorworking directly with clients to understand their operations, uncover opportunities, and implement tailored solutions that drive measurable results. Compensation & Benefits for a Sales Engineer Competitive base salary + uncapped earning potential Company vehicle with gas card or monthly car allowance + gas Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision 401(k) with company contribution Ongoing training and product development support Backed by strong internal teams (applications, service, leadership) Established territory with active customer relationships What You'll Be Doing as a Sales Engineer Build and expand relationships with manufacturers across your territory Evaluate customer operations to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities Recommend and sell CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and automation systems Conduct on-site visits to assess workflows and production processes Partner with applications engineers to design customized solutions Develop and present proposals highlighting ROI and productivity gains Manage the entire sales process from prospecting through closing and follow-up Maintain consistent engagement with customers to foster long-term partnerships What You Bring as a Sales Engineer 3+ years of experience in CNC, manufacturing, or industrial sales Solid understanding of machining processes (milling, turning, automation preferred) Ability to translate technical concepts into business value Proven success in building new business and managing accounts Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently in a field-based role Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within territory Key Qualifications of a Sales Engineer Experience selling or supporting CNC equipment or manufacturing solutions Ability to analyze production environments and recommend improvements Confidence leading customer meetings, demos, and technical discussions Self-starter with a high level of ownership and accountability Nice to Have as a Sales Engineer Experience with multi-axis machining, Swiss turning, or automation systems Exposure to automotive, aerospace, or medical manufacturing environments JOB ID: 175273 #post Tina Churchill-Spencer
