Store Sales Associate Lead

As a Store Sales Associate Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales to achieve store targets.

Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient store operations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in training new sales associates and fostering a positive work environment.

2. Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, ensuring a personalized shopping experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.

3. Sales and Target Achievement:

  • Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and promoting products.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

4. Inventory Management:

  • Assist in receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock management.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a retail sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
