Belfair is seeking a creative, energetic, and experienced Social Media Coordinator to help tell the story of our vibrant and beautiful community through engaging digital content. This role is responsible for capturing and creating compelling social media content that highlights the lifestyle, events, amenities, culture, and people that make Belfair special. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, understands current social media trends, and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment with flexible hours to attend events, activities, and special occasions for content creation. Compensation: $22+ per hour (depending on experience) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create, capture, edit, and publish engaging content across Belfair's social media platforms Develop creative stories, reels, photos, videos, and posts that showcase the Belfair lifestyle and community experience Attend club events, member activities, and community functions to gather real-time content Assist in maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms Collaboration with the Marketing & Communications Director on content planning, campaigns, and social media strategy Monitor social media trends and recommend fresh, innovative ideas to increase engagement Write compelling captions and messaging that align with Belfair's brand and culture Support promotion of club events, dining, golf, wellness, and community initiatives Engage with followers and help foster a positive online community presence Maintain an organized library of digital photos and video assets Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing, hospitality, lifestyle branding, or related field preferred Experience within private clubs, luxury hospitality, resort, golf, lifestyle, or service-focused environments strongly preferred Strong photography, videography, and editing skills with an eye for storytelling, composition, lighting, and capturing authentic moments Experience creating and editing short-form social media content including reels, stories, and vertical video Proficiency with content creation and editing platforms including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and current social media best practices and trends Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and event coverage in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, creativity, organization, and professionalism Ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative in identifying content and storytelling opportunities throughout the community Professional and personable presence with the ability to interact comfortably with members, guests, leadership, and associates Portfolio demonstrating photography, video, social media, and/or lifestyle content creation experience required Flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed Requirements Position is on-site – please no applicants looking to work remotely Reliable transportation required Ability to move throughout club facilities and event spaces for content capture Why Join Belfair?
