As a
Backend Python Engineer Intern , you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend solutions, creating REST APIs, and working with relational databases. This is an
unpaid internship
that offers valuable learning opportunities and the chance to make a real impact. Please apply only if you are authorized to work / intern in the USA at present. Preference will be given to candidates who can start immediately. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using
Python
and
Django . Design and implement
REST APIs
for seamless integration with the platform's frontend. Work with
Object Relational Mapping (ORM)
tools and handle database operations. Collaborate with the team to integrate advanced AI technologies into the backend. What We're Looking For
Required Skills:
Proficiency in
Python
and
Django . Strong understanding of
database concepts
and experience with
Django ORM . Hands‑on experience building and consuming
REST APIs .
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of
Machine Learning
and
Agentic frameworks
like LangGraph. Familiarity with
Knowledge Graphs
and their implementation. Exposure to
DevOps ,
CI/CD pipelines , and deployment best practices. Experience with
Django Ninja
for API development.
