Benefits:

Responsibilities & Job Details:

  • Personal care assistance and services such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities (must have valid DL & insurance)
  • Medication reminders and assist clients with ambulation
  • Preparing nutritious meals and shopping for groceries or other essentials
  • Light housekeeping
  • Protective supervision
  • Social interaction/behavior modification activities as directed by the Plan of Care
  • Assist with range of motion
  • Report and document any changes in client's condition to supervisor

Requirements:

  • Must be certified as a CNA (Nursing Assistant Certification or HCA (Home Care Aide) in the State of Washington
  • Must be able to provide proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Empathy and the ability to care for the client's social, emotional, physical, and mental health
  • Open to help with personal care
  • Proficient in some domestic chores such as preparing meals and cleaning
  • Trained in specialized areas of care, for example, geriatrics, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease
  • Open to working around pets and smoking
  • Available for consistent shifts throughout the Pierce County area - Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup, Gig Harbor and surrounding areas

Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
