About the Fellowship
The SpacePointe AI Product Intelligence Fellowship is a selective 6-week summer program for college students interested in software development, artificial intelligence, product innovation, technology leadership, and real-world product execution.
Team Leads will work directly with SpacePointe leadership and mentor high school fellows while helping improve EkiKart, a live commerce and payments platform used by businesses across North America.
Unlike a traditional internship, this fellowship provides the opportunity to lead projects, collaborate with students, evaluate real software products, explore AI-powered solutions, and contribute to meaningful business initiatives.
Fellowship Details
*Program Dates:* June 15, 2026 – July 31, 2026
*Schedule:* Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
*Location:* Dayton, Ohio
*Fellowship Stipend:* $2,000
*Positions Available:* 3 College Team Leads
What You'll Do
Each Team Lead will lead a team of high school fellows while contributing to one of the following initiatives:
AI Product Intelligence Lab
Help evaluate EkiKart product quality, identify usability issues, validate workflows, analyze merchant experiences, and recommend product improvements.
AI Product Innovation Studio
Design future product concepts, explore AI-powered opportunities, create workflow improvements, and develop product innovation recommendations.
AI Knowledge Systems Lab
Improve onboarding, support readiness, training assets, documentation systems, and knowledge management resources.
Team Lead Responsibilities
* Lead daily team Scrum meetings
* Mentor high school fellows
* Coordinate team assignments and deliverables
* Review work product and findings
* Maintain project organization
* Support documentation and reporting
* Present weekly findings and recommendations
* Help ensure successful completion of team objectives
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for students who have experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Software Development
* Computer Science
* Artificial Intelligence
* Product Management
* UI/UX Design
* Data Science
* Information Systems
* Technology Entrepreneurship
Applicants should demonstrate:
* Leadership ability
* Strong communication skills
* Problem-solving ability
* Curiosity and initiative
* Experience building or contributing to technology projects
GitHub profiles, portfolios, personal projects, hackathons, startup experience, and AI development experience are highly encouraged.
