We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented cashier to join our fast-paced fast food team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience. As a cashier, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers as they enter the restaurant.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process customer payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payment methods.
- Provide accurate change and receipts to customers.
- Ensure the accuracy of orders before handing them to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
- Assist with stocking and organizing inventory in the front of house.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous cashier or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Basic math skills and cash-handling experience. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
