HUNT VALLEY, MD, US McCormick is always looking for new people to bring their unique flavor to our team. We are looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist, Global Marketing Measurement and Optimization immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Position Summary: This Senior Data Scientist, Global Marketing Measurement and Optimization, will be responsible for bringing the data science expertise that is needed to lead a range of projects to drive better understanding of short- and long-term marketing effectiveness, including the next generation of technical modeling that powers McCormick's marketing measurement and optimization program. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of next-gen media measurement and optimization capabilities Develop media-driven volume forecasting tools Drive and leverage external connections to find new and improved tools and approaches Develop training content that enables business partners to use marketing optimization capabilities more effectively Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Data Analytics/Science, or closely related field 8+ years' experience in data science, with media analytics expertise Demonstrated sound understanding of concepts, principles and practices in Marketing and Sales Demonstrated skills and results in analyzing complex datasets, generating insights and building robust statistical models Proficiency with building dashboards for business users using data visualization software (Power BI preferred) Expertise in SQL and Python coding Demonstrated experience with building data models, machine learning & AI Strong technical curiosity, a passion for problem solving and the ability to uncover richness of analytic insight that translates to business opportunity Ability to synthesize analytic learnings and translate into compelling stories for a business audience Excellent written communication and presentation skills Ability to travel internationally, as needed (0-5%) Strong personal leadership, including attention to detail, quality of work and bias toward action CPG or Food/Bev experience (preferred) Base Salary: $103,520 - 181,150. Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan.
