Sizewell C. The power of good for Britain.

Location: Sizewell C (hybrid working arrangements).

Employment type: Permanent full-time.

Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.

Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Opportunity

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Business Architect.

The Role

As a Business Architect at Sizewell C, you will help align business strategy, operating model, processes, systems and organisational capability. You will translate complex strategic objectives into a coherent end‑to‑end business architecture that supports efficient delivery, regulatory compliance, and long‑term sustainability. You will work with senior leadership, project delivery teams, and stakeholders across functions to ensure that business capability gaps are identified and addressed, and that business transformation (digital, process, organisational) is executed effectively.

The Skills

• Substantial experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture or business transformation, preferably in large regulated infrastructure or energy / nuclear environment.
• Experience of formal project management approaches (e.g. PRINCE2, EDF Project Way) and tools.
• Strong skills in business capability modelling, process design, value stream mapping.
• Proven experience in developing investment cases for large, complex programmes.
• Experience of working with cross‑functional stakeholders, facilitating workshops, translating strategy into actionable change.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills and able to influence senior leadership.
• Understanding of regulatory / governance / safety constraints and ability to design within those constraints.

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.  Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company.
