Sizewell C. The power of good for Britain.

Location: Sizewell C, site-based 5 days a week in Leiston, Suffolk ( occasional weekend work will be required).

Contract: Permanent, full-time.

Salary: Competitive depending on experience, plus benefits. 

Benefits include:

• Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
• Bonus: Up to 5% annual bonus.

This is your chance to play a pivotal role in the Sizewell C (SZC) project – the UK's next-generation nuclear power station that’s shaping the future of sustainable energy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works.  you’ll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including:

• Team Leadership: Strategic Execution: you will be helping the PM TO Develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans.
• Project Oversight: To deliver new Projects into Sizewell C Project with Safety and quality at the forefront of our works.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success.
• Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery.
• Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation.

What We’re Looking For:

We need a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring:

• Industry Expertise : Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, on projects, and working within regulated environments.
• Management Skills : Supervising Tier 1 contractors and team members.
• Leadership Capabilities : Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
• Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable.
• SMSTS Required, CSCS site manage r card - r equired.
