Job Description
Senior Design Engineer Location: Derby Contract/Staff Position
Your future team:
Are you ready to ignite your career in engineering with thrilling challenges and ground breaking projects within Nuclear and Defence? Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are expanding its team in Derby and are looking for enthusiastic Designers to join our innovative team
Your Missions:
️ Design components to customer specs Create models and drawings with CAD Research new ideas and methods Improve products and processes ✏️ Modify designs for requirements ⚠️ Ensure safety compliance Find creative solutions ‍ Support junior team members Present designs to customers

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Senior Design Engineer or similar role Ability to work with the Mechanical Engineering Team to realize ideas ⚠️ Understanding of safety legislation High degree of knowledge around Design for Manufacture ️ Familiarity with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX or similar) for model and drawing creation Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcentre or similar) Professional qualification in an engineering related field
