Pour notre bureau de Montréal, nous recherchons un(e) Conseiller(ère) aux ventes en salle d’exposition dynamique et orienté(e) vers les résultats, qui comprend que la salle d’exposition d’aujourd’hui est bien plus qu’un espace de vente — c’est un lieu de relations, une vitrine de marque et un moteur de développement des affaires.
TITRE DU POSTE : Conseiller(ère) aux ventes en salle d’exposition
MANDAT :
Ce poste combine la vente consultative en salle d’exposition, la gestion des relations clients et le développement proactif des affaires au sein de la communauté A&D (architectes et designers). La personne retenue sera responsable non seulement d’offrir une expérience client exceptionnelle en salle d’exposition, mais aussi de faire croître l’influence de celle-ci, d’élargir sa clientèle et de renforcer la présence de Metro auprès des designers, architectes et partenaires de l’industrie.
Il s’agit d’un rôle idéal pour une personne évoluant avec aisance dans un environnement axé sur le design, qui aime bâtir des relations professionnelles et représenter une offre de produits haut de gamme.
RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES :
Expérience client et vente consultative
- Créer une expérience en salle d’exposition raffinée et accueillante, en cohérence avec l’image de marque de Metro
- Interagir avec les designers, architectes, entrepreneurs et utilisateurs finaux selon une approche consultative axée sur les solutions
- Accompagner les clients dans la sélection de produits en apportant des conseils sur l’esthétique, la performance, le prix et l’application
- Traduire les besoins des projets en recommandations adaptées
- Atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente et indicateurs de performance
- Développer des relations durables favorisant la fidélisation et la récurrence des affaires
Développement des affaires et engagement dans l’industrie
- Développer activement la clientèle de la salle d’exposition au sein de la communauté A&D
- Identifier, prospecter et développer de nouveaux clients, firmes et opportunités de projets
- Maintenir un contact régulier via appels, courriels, invitations en salle d’exposition et réseautage
- Collaborer avec l’équipe des ventes pour soutenir les opportunités de prescription
- Organiser et participer à des événements, présentations et « Lunch & Learn »
- Utiliser les outils numériques, CRM et initiatives marketing pour renforcer l’engagement client
- Positionner la salle d’exposition comme une ressource incontournable en matière de produits et de design
Excellence de la salle d’exposition et image de marque
- Maintenir une salle d’exposition impeccable avec des échantillons, catalogues et présentoirs à jour
- Contribuer au marchandisage visuel dans un esprit haut de gamme et orienté design
- Veiller à l’exactitude et à l’actualité des outils de présentation clients
- Se tenir informé des lancements de produits, des prix et des initiatives de l’entreprise
Expertise produit, collaboration nationale et soutien à l’équipe
- Développer une solide connaissance technique des produits (performance, installation, entretien)
- Soutenir les représentants sur le terrain avec des conseils produits et des suivis clients
- Collaborer avec les équipes des salles d’exposition à travers le Canada afin d’assurer une expérience client cohérente
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes internes pour assurer une expérience fluide, de la spécification à la livraison
QUALIFICATIONS ET COMPÉTENCES :
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en vente en salle d’exposition, vente design, commerce de détail haut de gamme ou développement des affaires B2B
- Parfaitement bilingue (français/anglais)
- Capacité démontrée à développer et entretenir un réseau de clients
- Fort sens commercial et excellente présentation professionnelle
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication, présentation et suivi
- Sens de l’organisation, autonomie et capacité à gérer plusieurs interactions simultanément
- Expérience avec les CRM et outils numériques (atout)
- Formation postsecondaire en affaires, design ou domaine connexe (atout)
- Expérience auprès de la communauté architecturale et du design (atout)
RÉMUNÉRATION :
- Salaire annuel : 65 000 $ à 75 000 $, plus commission

For our Montreal office , we are seeking a polished, sales-driven Showroom Sales Consultant who understands that today’s showroom is not just a sales space — it is a relationship hub, brand experience, and business development engine.
POSITION TITLE: Showroom Sales Consultant
SCOPE:
This role blends consultative showroom sales, client relationship management, and proactive business development within the A&D community. The successful candidate will be responsible not only for delivering an exceptional in-showroom experience, but also for actively growing the showroom’s influence, expanding its client base, and strengthening Metro’s presence among designers, architects, and industry partners. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a design-focused environment, enjoys building professional relationships, and takes pride in representing a premium product offering.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Client Experience & Consultative Sales
- Create a refined, welcoming showroom experience aligned with Metro’s brand and reputation
- Engage designers, architects, contractors, and end users with a consultative, solutions-based sales approach
- Guide clients through product selection with confidence, providing insight on aesthetics, performance, pricing, and application
- Translate project needs into tailored product recommendations
- Consistently meet or exceed showroom sales targets and performance metrics
- Build lasting relationships that generate repeat business and long-term client loyalty
- Business Development & Industry Engagement
- Actively grow the showroom’s client base within the architectural and design community
- Identify, pursue, and cultivate new designers, firms, and project opportunities
- Maintain regular outreach through calls, emails, showroom invitations, and industry networking
- Partner with the sales team to support specification opportunities
- Organize and participate in showroom events, presentations, and Lunch & Learns
- Use digital tools, CRM platforms, and marketing initiatives to strengthen client engagement
- Position the showroom as a destination resource for product knowledge and design support
Showroom Excellence & Brand Presentation
- Maintain a beautifully presented showroom with current samples, books, and displays
- Contribute to visual merchandising that reflects a premium, design-forward environment
- Ensure all client-facing materials are accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards
- Stay fully informed on product launches, pricing, and company initiatives
Product Expertise, National Collaboration & Team Support
- Develop strong technical understanding of product performance, installation requirements, and maintenance considerations
- Support field consultants with product knowledge, client follow-up, and project assistance when needed
- Collaborate closely with showroom account managers across Canada to share insights, coordinate opportunities, and ensure a consistent national client experience
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver a seamless experience from specification through order fulfillment
Qualifications/ Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in showroom sales, design sales, luxury retail, or consultative B2B business development.
- Fully bilingual (French/English)
- Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and grow a client base
- Strong sales acumen combined with a polished, client-facing presence
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple client interactions simultaneously
- Familiarity with CRM systems, digital outreach tools, or specification-driven sales processes is an asset
- Post-secondary education in business, design, or a related field is an advantage
- Experience working with the architectural and interior design community an asset
Compensation Package :
- Annual salary range: $65,000-75,000, plus commission-based incentive.
