Directorate General Development At an hour from Paris and at the gates of the Loire Valley, Orléans Métropole and the city of Orléans have incomparable assets in terms of living and working conditions. Joining the Directorate General for Territory Development and Attractiveness means participating in the development of the territory through economic development and planning, contributing to the housing policy, offering quality training and higher studies to students. It is also promoting the territory through major events and developing an attractive tourism policy. A support team dedicated to the Directorate General will accompany you in the implementation of your actions on financial, legal and HR plans. Work Context The City of Art and History Pole belongs to the Directorate of Attractiveness, Tourism and Events. In close connection with the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Centre-Val de Loire region and in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, this pole offers seasonal programs of guided tours, workshops for children and conferences to make the history and architecture of the city known to the Orléanais. This pole also has a publishing activity and works on audio-guided tours available on the Destination Orléans application. It participates in the major events of the City, such as the Loire Festival and the Feasts of Joan of Arc, as well as national events such as the European Heritage Days, the National Architecture Days or the Gardens Rendezvous. It responds to any request for study and valorization of the local heritage. Missions Your missions will be:
Piloting the City of Art and History Pole:
Participate in CODIR, COPIL and COTECH, and animate pole meetings. Ensure the transmission of information between the pole and the Directorate. Distribute activities within the pole. Accompany agents to the rise in skills through training. Ensure the administrative and budgetary management of the pole.
Implementing the convention project City of Art and History with all audiences:
Coordinate the seasonal programs of guided tours and pedagogical workshops, and their registration in local and national cultural events. Coordinate the annual school program. Pilot publications and digital mediation. Create and pilot exhibitions. Coordinate any project of nature to valorize the history and architecture of Orléans (heritage signage…). Participate in meetings and steering committees for transversal projects concerning the valorization of the heritage, architecture and urbanism of the city.
Forming and transmitting the acquired knowledge on the heritage:
Form on the history and architecture, local or national. Conduct visits or workshops of patrimonial mediation.
Participate in the holding of the service stand during local or national events. Participate in the animation of the network of regional and national Cities and Countries of Art and History.
Specifics of the Position
Availability on certain weekends and public holidays to follow tours led by guide lecturers, or to participate in the holding of the service stand during local or national events Possibility of teleworking according to the organization of the pole Location: office rue de la Folie, behind the Saint Pierre le Puellier Collegiate Church
Regarding a recruitment under simplified competition, organized by the DRAC, the conditions will be the following:
A written 1h30 (remote) in the form of a note addressed to the elected person to present a patrimonial project around a neighborhood for example A 20-minute visit in French on the history and architecture of Orléans An interview with a slightly enlarged jury (elected, director, HR, Inventory, DRAC, Culture)
Technical Skills Expected
Master in Humanities. Degree in archeology, management of cultural heritages, history or history of art highly appreciated. Specialty in architecture highly appreciated. Knowledge of local authorities, public policies, actors and networks related to heritage. Driving license B appreciated. Master the follow-up and project methodology. Know how to propose and follow a budget. Have writing skills and be comfortable orally. Master multimedia tools. Master historical research.
Know-How
Know how to work in a team. Know how to lead a team. Be autonomous and organized. Be a force of proposal with the hierarchy and the team. Be creative and pedagogical.
