Design, develop, and maintain complex Snowflake data warehouses, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality control.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all data warehousing activities.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
Automate data processing and transformation tasks using Python and related technologies.
Optimize data warehouse performance , scalability, and reliability, including troubleshooting and monitoring.
Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
Create and maintain data visualizations and reports using Snowflake or third‑party BI tools (e.g., Tableau).
Implement data validation rules, cleansing processes, and access controls to safeguard data quality and security.
Document technical processes , including data dictionaries, data flows, and code comments.
Participate in code reviews , ensuring high‑quality, standards‑compliant code.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams to align data strategy and technology standards.
Communicate technical information and complex data findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members and analysts.
Key Qualifications
8+ years' experience in Snowflake data warehouse development and data engineering.
Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and warehousing concepts.
Advanced skills in SQL (including Snowflake SQL dialect) and performance optimization.
Proficient in Snowflake features (cloning, time travel, data sharing, micro‑partitioning).
Experience with Snowflake RBAC, data masking, and encryption.
Skilled in ETL/ELT tools and data integration.
Proficient in Python or similar scripting languages for automation.
Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and related services (Glue, DMS, S3, Appflow).
Experience integrating Snowflake with Tableau, Salesforce, APIs, etc.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaborative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Team‑oriented, with proven ability to collaborate across organizational levels.
