IT Network & Server Administrator (m/f/d)

TT-Line is one of the leading ferry companies in the Baltic Sea, using modern ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Sweden. TT-Line carries over 1,000,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units annually on its 4 routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. TT-Line currently employs around 900 people on board and in the land offices in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Karlshamn, Świnoujście / Szczecin and Klaipėda.

For our headquarters in Travemünde (Germany), we are looking for a:

• Administration, operation and optimization of network, server and cloud infrastructure
• Design, implementation and support of secure and highly available IT environments across multiple locations and vessels
• Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of firewalls, switches, routing, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi and SD-WAN connections
• Administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and file services
• Management of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune and cloud-based services
• Administration of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V and Proxmox
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and incident handling for business-critical infrastructure systems
• Planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, migrations and rollouts
• On-site and remote support for offices, vessels and external locations
• Documentation of systems, configurations and technical changes

• Degree in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience in network, server and cloud administration
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi and SD-WAN
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune and modern device management
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V/Proxmox
• Good troubleshooting skills for complex network, server and connectivity issues
• Good scripting skills (PowerShell or Python)
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, network segmentation and system hardening
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical topics
• Willingness to travel and support systems in multiple locations
